Inside Jokes

When people hang out with each other too long, inside jokes begin to form. Generally inside jokes are funny to those who understand them, but for newcomers they can be a barrier to entry. Generally speaking, asking stupid questions is the norm, and nobody ever gets past it, so just jump on in.

  • JiBot, the #joiIto bot. 100% Pure Python (original work by rvr, KevinMarks and JoiIto) It has recently been rewritten by Termie (Apr 04) in Twisted still just python, not many obvious functional changes. Mainly internal refactoring, heralding/def fixes and input sanitization (thanks aempirei :) )

  • datum is AaronSw's bot (and many people wish Aaron would remove the bot, make it ignore xena or change the trigger character)

  • xena is tav's
  • nopaste is a pastebot. /whois it for an URL that accepts pastes.
  • brittabot is tangra's bot (not britta's). Responds with "hehe" to the words "chocolate" and "loaf", among other text triggers. It's supposed to be a britta-simulation.
