  • BluePhoneMenu - Toolbar widget that talks to your phone via bluetooth
  • Bookit - Bookmark manager. graduate diploma
  • Cocoal.icio.us - del.icio.us client
  • Colloquy - Nice IRC client
  • CopyPaste-X - Fancy copy/paste tool useful for blogging
  • DEVONThink - Notetaking device that will let you paste almost anything into that creates concordances and easy to use searches within it. Education degree
  • EndNote 7 - Bibliography database and formatter which works with MS Word, best application for making custom papers, but not yet upgraded for 2004
  • EtherPEG - Sniffs network for images and makes a collage on the screen. Nursing school
  • Fire - A great multi-protocol chat client
  • Firefox - My favorite browser
  • Flickr Uploadr - Upload files to Flickr
  • Fugu - SFTP/SCP client - What I use to get files in and out of my server
  • GarageBand - Even I can be a musician
  • HP-12C - My favorite calculator
  • Inquisitor - Nifty Google client
  • Keynote - Better than Powerpoint if you want to embed movies
  • Microsoft Office 2004 - Using Entourage. Love the projects system, but really slow.
  • Movable Type - I can't believe Joi forgot to mention this one. :)
  • NetNewsWire - My primary aggregator for reading RSS and Atom feeds.
  • NoteTaker - Outliner
  • OmniGraffle Professional - What I use to draw diagrams
  • Path Finder - incredibly powerful Finder alternative
  • PGP - What I use to encrypt email
  • QuickTime Broadcaster - Lets me do one-to-many streaming from iSight
  • QuickTime Player - Have my mp3's set to play in QT Player. Great for video file format conversions.
  • Quicksilver - Better than Launchbar. Lets you type an abbreviation for an application or file and open it. Has many other cool features. Online journalism degree
  • RadioLover - Lets you stream rip Internet radio streams with tags for artist and title.
  • SBook5 - Very fast and flexible notecard style db useful for addresses.
  • Skype - Voice P2P IM sort of thingie. Call another Skype user for free, or a cell/landline cheaply. Very cool.
  • Steam - Helps schedule and play BBC radio stations.
  • SubEthaEdit - Real time shared document editing tool.
  • TNEF's Enough - Convert winmail.dat files created by Outlook into something we can open.
  • VLC - Best video player. It's free. It also makes your Mac a region free DVD player.
  • VersionTracker Pro - Great for keeping track of and updating your applications.
  • Wallet - Not a great interface, but OK. I keep passwords and other things in it.
  • Web design services - provides customers with custom website designs.
  • X-Chat Aqua - My IRC client of choice
  • X-PRO - Soft phone that works with Vonage
  • ecto - Blogging client
  • iEatBrainz - MusicBrainz tagger
  • iPulse - See CPU and other vitals
  • iScrobbler - Upload what you're listening to on iTunes to Scrobbler and Last.fm
  • iStumbler - Scans for wifi networks
  • iTerm - Nice tabbed replacement to the standard terminal. online degree school
  • mic4joi - Lets me get sound input from my speakers so I can hear people without taking off my earphones.
