When you create a new page and give it a title, it's a good idea to make a title unique, short, and memorable. For example, "Page of Stuff" is probably not a very good title; it doesn't convey what or who the page is about. Consider naming schemes for information that repeats over time. For example, "April Report" might seem like a good title, but will not be, once next April rolls around and you need to create "April Report 2009". You might also think of how you'll be linking to your new page from other pages in the workspace. If you give your new page a title that will flow naturally in prose, then you can make links to it as you write on other pages. One more thing to consider in page titles: make them findable. Consider how other people, or you in the future, might search for the information on this page in a workspace-wide search, and give your new page a relevant and memorable name.
When you are looking at any wiki page, you can create a new page simply by clicking + New Page, near the top of the screen, on the grey Workspace Toolbar .
This will take you to the editing window for a new page. The title will be filled in already as "Untitled Page".
Click in the title bar to erase "Untitled Page" and replace it with your own page title. You and others will be able to find this page later by using the title you choose now, so make it meaningful.
Then click in the large text area below the title. Put the text you want on the page in the large space which reads "Replace this text with your own." Click Save.
You can also create a new page by making a link on an existing page. While editing, select the text to link and click onin the toolbar. Or, you can just put the title of the page you wish to create in square brackets, like this: [Title of New Page] , and the link will be activated when you save the page.
After saving, the link will appear with a dashed underline, which means the link refers to a new page. Whenever you click on a dashed link, you can fill in the text of the new page.
To rename a page, click on Rename Page in the Tools menu.
A pop-up window will let you choose a new name for your page. The main window will navigate to the new page after you click Rename. The contents of the original page will be replaced with the words "Page renamed to <new name>" and will link to the new page. This allows any links to the original page to continue to work. You can choose to duplicate attachments and tags along with the text of the page.
To delete a page, click on Delete Page in the Tools menu.
You will be asked to confirm that the page should be removed. After deletion, you will be given an option to restore in case you deleted in error. A list of pages that link to the page you deleted will also be shown. You may want to update those links.
To duplicate a page, click on Duplicate Page in the Tools menu.
A pop-up window will let you choose a name for your duplicate page. The main window will navigate to the new page after you click Duplicate. You can choose to duplicate attachments and tags along with the text of the page.
To publish a page to another workspace, click on Copy Page to Workspace in the Tools menu.
From here you provide the destination workspace and a new page name (optional). You can choose to duplicate attachments and tags along with the text of the page.
A list of the attachments to a page appears in the Attachments box in the sidebar.Click on the Upload files button to add one or more file(s). Click the file name to view the file. Click the Delete button (red button surrounding a '-' or a blue-grey 'x', depending on your release) to delete a file. See Attached files for more on the mechanics of attaching a file.
