With Socialtext 2.20.3 we bring you a reorganized Edit Toolbar. The editing toolbar has a cleaner look, and features a well-organized Insert menu that replaces the long Insert dropdown menu.

New Insert Menu

The re-organized Insert Menu makes it easier to find and insert the links and WikiWidgets that you can use to organize your pages in wikis. On the Simple Mode page you can see the organization of the new Insert menu. Insert items have been logically grouped into a multi-level pullout menu.

You will also notice these three icons:

The Link icon brings up a dialog that allows you to create (inter) wiki links, Web links, or page section links.
The Image icon brings up a dialog that allows you to specify and size an already attached image.
The Table icon brings up a dialog that allows you to specify the number of rows and columns for a new table.

Bug fixes and enhancements

• Deleted attachments no longer appear in search results
• Pages containing only tables no longer break in IE
• IE 6 no longer freezes during browser resizing when the editor is open
• Selecting a wiki link and clicking the Link icon correctly places the wiki link text in the Link dialog

Known Bugs

• The "More options" portion of the "Attached Image" dialog box goes beyond the visable/usable region in certain browsers. To work-around, "drag scroll" the region by pressing and holding the mouse button and dragging it slowly below the editing area.
