What is DKP?

See Dragon Kill Points (Wikipedia)

Rewarding DKP:

1. DKP is awarded to both guild and non-guild members who participated in guild organized end-game raids only - namely MC, AQ40, Onynxia and BWL. DKP is assigned per player (ie, your main + alts), not per toon.

2. Players who sign up and show up for the raid on time shall be awarded X DKP as long they stay more than one hour. On the other hand, players who sign up but fail to show up shall have 4X DKP deducted unless they informed the Raid Coordinator 24 hours before the beginning of the raid.

Amendment 2.1: Players who signed up with a note (or inform Raid Coordinator) that they will be late shall also be given X DKP as long they show up at the time they promised and stayed more than one hour.

3. Players shall receive X DKP for every hour participated in raid and X DKP for every boss killed.

Amendment 3.1: Players shall receive 0.25X of DKP for every hour waitlist for raid. In order to qualify for the waitlist DKP, players have to inform the raid coordinator their intention to be on the waitlist. They shall also have their main parked outside the instance. They may switch to their alt but must be ready to enter instance within 5min.

At the end of the raid, the raid coordinator shall invite all waitlist players to raid. Only those who join the raid within 5min shall be given their waitlist DKP.

4. Players' DKP is capped at 1000 DKP to prevent DKP hoarding.

Using your DKP:

5. Epic items have a fixed min and max DKP value. The Raid Coordinator will call for bids based on Class Priority.

Amendment 5.1: Epic items now has fixed DKP value. (20th July 2006)

6. Players who want the epic item may bid over the raid channel. The bid should be between the min and max DKP values, round numbers in increments of 10 only. Players may submit the same bid. Players who have less than zero DKP may only bid the min DKP value to indicate their interest.

Amendment 6.1: Non-guild players are not allowed to go negative with their bidding.

Amendment 6.2: Players who have less than or equal to zero DKP may only bid the min DKP value to indicate their interest. (30th May 2006)

7. The Player who has the highest bid shall win the epic item. In the case where 2 or more players have the same bid (e.g. max DKP value), then the player who has the higher DKP shall be the winner. If there is a tie, then a random roll shall be use to determine the winner.

8. The winner of the epic shall have the DKP they bid deducted from their DKP.

9. If no one wants or can use an epic item, then (a) if it is boe, it shall be sent to the Guild Bank (weknowmc). Players who are not on the raid may bid for it. (b) if it is bop, then the epic shall be disenchanted and the shards/nexus shall be sent to the Guild Bank.

Amendment 9.1: BoEs in bank will be given to players on a first come first serve basis at fixed DKP (min. DKP). Players are not allowed to go below zero DKP when requesting BoEs in bank.

Amendment 9.2: BoE items purchased (with dkp) from the bank will require members to 1) have the full amount of positive dkp OR 2) a minimum lifetime raid attendance of 15 raids in order to go negative DKP to purchase items. (Nov. 6, 2006)

Looting Rules:

10. Master Looting shall be used for end-game raids.

11. There shall be a designated Master Looter, Skinner and Miner. No one else should loot, skin or mine unless asked by Raid Coordinator.

12. All random greens and blues drop shall be looted by Master Looter. There will be NO call for roll. If you need anything, you should indicate your interest by whispering the Raid Coordinator. If there is more then one player interested in the item, Raid Coordinator shall call for a random roll when we reach a safe spot.

13. All random greens and blues looted by Master Looter at the end of the raid shall be send to Guild Bank to be distributed to others in the guild. Unwanted gear may be sold on Auction House and profit shall be used to make items for raiding (e.g. Repair bots, fire resistance potions, etc)

Lava Core, Fiery Core and Core Leather:

14. Lava Core, Fiery Core and Core Leather are used for crafting gear for various classes. The most important is fire resistance gear. As Cores are rare (at least initially), they shall be handled separately by Guild.

15. The general priority for Cores shall be in the following order: Main Tank, Off Tanks, Priests, Druids, Paladins, Rogues then others. The raid goal is to get at least one 300+ FR MT and a couple of OTs with similar FR. Then get a couple of healers to 150-300 FR followed by Rogues (melee DPS) to 200-300 FR.

16. Raid Coordinator may use Cores to craft gear and assign them to players in alignment with the raid goals. Gear assigned will not cost any DKP although players must provide all other materials for crafting (e.g. Dark Iron Bars). The Raid Coordinator may assign up to 3 of such crafted gear to warriors and up to 2 to other classes. This assignment is at the discretion of the Raid Coordinator and is not an entitlement for anyone to demand "free" crafting from the Raid Coordinator.

17. Players may apply for Cores using their DKP for their own crafting to the Raid Coordinator. Raid Coorindator may approve such application if there are extra Cores considering the raid goal.

18. Players who disagree with Raid Coordinator handling of Cores may appeal to the Guild Master. The Guild Master's decision shall be final.

End-Game Raid-only formulae

19. End-Game Raid-only formulae refers to BoP formulae and patterns such as Healing Power, Spell Power, Core Armor Kit, etc that only drop in End-Game instances.

20. End-Game Raid-only formulae may be assigned to players in the raid by the Raid Coordinator. No DKP will be deducted if assigned by the Raid Coordinator. Prority shall go to players who are more active.

21. End-Game Raid-only formulae, if not assigned, shall be open to bidding.

MC Queue:

22. In order to form a balanced raid team, 5 slots shall be reserved for each class. 8 classes, 5 players each => 40 man raid.

23. Players should sign up with their Class Leader and the Class Leader shall choose the players in their class for the raid. The criteria for selection is at the discretion of the Class Leader, ie, it is not necessarily first-come-first-serve. However, Guild players should always have priority over non-Guild players.

24. If any class is unable to field 5 players, the extra slots shall be open to other classes. The Raid Coordinator shall decide which class to assign these extra slots to.

25. For class coordination purposes, Feral Druid (Bear) shall be grouped with Warriors, Feral Druid (Cat) with Rogues, Moonkin Druid with Mages and Shadow Priests with Hunters. These refer to play style not talent, ie if you prefer to be cat form (most of the time) in raid, apply for raid with Rogue Class Leader regardless of your talent/spec.

26. Players who disagree with Class Leaders or the Raid Coordinator handling of the MC Queue may appeal to the Guild Master. The Guild Master's decision shall be final.

Tier 1 to Tier 2 Refunds

27. Tier 1 items have a set cost, Tier 2 items have a set cost. The combined cost for the same item from both tiers is equal to the cost of tier 2 minus (up to) the current cost of tier 1. The item purchased first costs the full price for that tier set piece.

28. If the tier 1 piece was purchased first, after purchasing the tier 2 a refund for up to the current cost of the tier 1 piece will be issued. Bidding on tier 2 during the raid remains the same.

29. If the tier 2 piece was purchased first, the tier 1 piece will cost 0 dkp but members may not bid against a player who does not have the tier 1 or tier 2 regardless of who has more dkp.

30. There is no refund issued if the tier 1 or tier 2 piece were not purchased with dkp on a We Know raid and bidding remains the same.
