Photo Commons Tokyo Meetup June 22, 2007
The photos on Flickr
We're going to meet up for a walk around town and dinner on the 22nd in Tokyo. Sign up here.
Plan
- Meeting up sometime first thing in the afternoon. ( Joi Ito has a lunch thing already... sorry.)
- Meeting at 14:30, at South exit(Minami-guchi) of Shinjuku station
- How about hitting various areas of town and break groups so we're not so conspicuous?
- We can split to 2 teams or keep as one team,
if we are going to split it will be:
1) shoot Shinjuku
2) move to Harajuku and shoot Harajuku/Omotesando area
- I'd like to shoot more in both those places so my vote it is to keep group together. kthnxbai. -sean
- I don't like the idea of splitting up the group, since I'm not coming to shoot photos but to meet up with folks -ado
- I like the idea of splitting and regrouping after a while at a set time and place. Lather rinse repeat...
- Maybe end up at Lab in Jyugaoka to talk shop and maybe do some software tutorials?

Cameras + Tokyo make for a great day. Joi, I must confess that I enjoyed the vegan dinner. It was all so yummy.
@Joi: Okay, now that I have downloaded LightRoom, how the heck do I use it properly? Oh, and, what is the name of your bag?
@Hector: Fernando!
@Jim Grisanzio: We need to go back and sneak some shots of Golden Gai at night.
@Matt Alt: Your books are fantastic.
@Adriaan: Look, Starbucks!
@Robert Laing: Get those photos up on flickr.
@Sean: I suggest your next visit be to Kyoto. Kyoto puts Tokyo to shame.
@Fumi: If my nose looks really big in that video, could you delete it? No? /me sighs.
@Jim O'Connell: That Epson photo viewing thingy is nice.
@The two young ladies who kept food on the table Mika and Yuki: Thank you so much. I apologize for forgetting your names. Please forgive me.
