The following Loot Rules are for 10 man and smaller. It's not any good for larger than that - for 20+ man instances the guild uses SuicideKings for loot distribution. If you haven't yet, please also read the We No Getting Started Guide.
If a scheduled run is not listed as being guild-only, if more people want to go than there are slots, invite priority is given to guild members, then members from allied guilds, then other players, in that order, unless otherwise stated up front. If the scheduled run is a joint run being held between We No and an allied guild, both guilds have equal priority.
Instancing rules:
- If you sign up, you are expected to be at the instance AT start time. Start time will go by the server time. If you're not at the instance at start time, the group has the option of removing you from the run and/or finding another person to fill your slot if they think they can do so faster than waiting for your arrival. "At the instance" is to be defined as at the instance portal, or, if one cannot reach the instance portal alone, at the meeting stone. (Which anyone should be able to reach solo)
- Please do not assume that the Warlock (If any) will port you to the instance at start time. IF they have the shards and other players available, they may do so, at their descretion, but are not required to do so. YOU are expected to make your way to the instance on time. Similarly, please do not count on mages to portal you to a major city for you to get to the instance faster, as they may already be in transit.
- Please have necessary materials for your character class, AND any for the instance when you arrive for the run. This means that shamans are to have ankhs, warlocks should already have their shards, priests should have candles if they have PoF, mages should have arcane powder if they have arcane brilliance, etc, and EVERYONE should have their key for the instance if it/they have one.
- Please do NOT show up PvP flagged to the instance run. No one wants to wait on you if another group is around and kills you. Please do not attack flagged players while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive. The healers likely do not want to flag while healing you on the way to the portal, and those casting AoE buffs do not want to have to buff you individually.
- Instance runs are currently averaging approximately 3 hours. Please try to be available from start time until 3 hours after start.
- For purposes of looting, you may "pass", "greed" or "need" an item.
- "Needing" an item is defined as an item you are going to USE on THAT CHARACTER.
- "Greed" rolls are for any item that you intend to sell, use it to make something else you can sell, or send it off to another character (Like an alt) for some other purpose. If you win a "greed" roll, you may do with the item what you like.
- You may NOT "need" roll for another character that you have, but are not currently playing.
- You may NOT "need" roll for an item for the purposes of collecting disenchant materials, or for use in a craft to make items you can sell. EVERYONE can use more gold, and everyone should be on equal footing, here.
- If there is more than one character that "needs" an item, but one of the characters cannot use the item yet (due to level requirement), precidence goes to the group member that CAN use the item immediately, if any.
- You may "pass" on any item, but are never required to do so.
- Need rolls take precidence over greed rolls.
- If the instance leader has set the loot to "Master Looter", they will link the items in party/raid chat as they are discovered. Greed rolls are done by a /roll 100. If someone needs an item, they are to say in party/raid chat that they need the item. One item at a time is rolled on, in the order that they are linked in party/raid chat.
