Group Calendar - As discussed, we no longer use GEM. This is a tool that we use to schedule & sign up for instance runs and guild events.
Configuration: (Put Directions Here)
CT**Assist (End Game Raiding) - If you are end game raiding (MC, AQ, ZG) with We Know, we need you to have CT Raid Assist installed. At it's most basic level, it tosses up an interface for Main Tank and Off Tank targets so that you will understand who's targeting what and in what order things need to go down. It gives raid leaders options for "Ready Checks" before boss fights. Pick up CT_RA Boss Mods and you will get automated warnings during end game bosses. It has many more health/mana tracking features for the raid that you can explore on your own.
Configuration: No configuration is necessary for the basic features.
Decursive (End Game Raiding)- If your class needs to manage decursing, please pick up this addon. Its job it to help a class that can remove debuffs, do it with ease. Load the mod, bind a key (or create a macro '/decursive') and run, no further configuration or editing needed, it auto configures. Run the mod when ever you wish to cleanse a status ailment, or even think one might be on your target, party, or even raid party, if nothing is cleaned, there is no penalty or cool down.

TeamSpeak (End Game Raiding, General Communications) - We Know/No uses a TeamSpeak server. TeamSpeak is a seperate application for WoW, not technically an AddOn.
Configuration: Server Address = ts2.weknow.to, Password = ireadforums, Nickname = Your Toon Name
Most (all?) WoW AddOns are installed by dropping the downloaded folders into your AddOns directory. Take a look at the AddOn. Must are structured with the AddOn name as the title of the folder. There are a handfull of files inside that folder. Drag the entire folder into your AddOns directory.
Mac OSX: Applications > World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns > Drop Folder Here
Windows XP:
AddOns need to be upgraded every time WoW issues a new release/patch, as most break with major builds. The big developers usually release new versions quickly after Blizzard makes patches. It's good practice to occasionally check for newer versions of your favorite AddOns.
AddOns are a double edged sword. While they extend and enhance gameplay and experience, they also use resources, sometimes conflict with each other, and can occasionally cause WoW to lock up. It's best to stick with the popular ones, keep them up to date, and use as few as you can while still being happy in WoW. Once you are comfortable with a "base" of installed AddOns, play around with more, but do them one at a time so that if/when things go nasty, you know what caused your trouble.
Auctioneer - Everybody likes gold. Auctioneer is an AddOn that helps you determine the "going rate" for anything on the Auction House. At its most basic level, it gives you recommended prices for what to put stuff on the AH. After downloading Auctioneer, you need to "scan" the Auction House to gather a baseline of data so that it knows what the "going rate" is. The more times you scan, the larger the database you have, the more accurately Auctioneer can gauge the current rate. Some people scan twice daily, others once a week. The process takes about 20 minutes. Set it to scan before dinner, come back later. Auctioneer has many other features that let you search the Auction House for great deals. Takes a minute to install, a lifetime to master.
Configuration: Go to the Auction House after installation and use the "Scan" button to grab your initial scan. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Atlas - Atlas provides maps of the various instances in WoW.
Configuration: No configuraiton necessary.
GuildAds - This AddOn allows guildies to advertise a) that they need "x" or b) that they have "x".
Configuration: (Put Instructions Here)
Scrolling Combat Text - This AddOn scrolls several things on the main screen, instead of just in your portrait. It's kind of FFXI style, for those who've played it. Not only does it show the damage you're taking, it shows the heals you're getting (and who they're coming from), reputation you're earning, the type of spell damage being done to you, and so much more. You won't remember what life was like before you got this mod.
Configuration: Type /sct in game to bring up the GUI. You can make the scrolling text larger or smaller, control the way it scrolls, change the font, and add or remove different things to what's being scrolled on your screen.
Titan Panel - Dive into the world of Titan by first downloading the base Titan Panel package. It includes a bunch of AddOns that will give you a nice start. Other AddOn developers write additional AddOns that are compatible with the Titan Panel interface.
Hunters - Recommended hunter-specific AddOns and plug-ins.
Warlocks - Recommended warlock-specific AddOns and plug-ins.
